Kandy Jenkins, Executive Director
Kandy Jenkins has been an executive in various industries handling benefit plans, employee management, human resources, strategy planning, and financial review and regulations for over 25 years. She holds an MBA from the University of Montana where she worked for over twelve years creating business programs for professionals in communities throughout Montana. She also has worked for a private NASA-funded research facility where she was part of trade missions with European countries to bring high-tech industries to Montana. She joined the Plan in 2017 and enjoys working with numerous employer groups to help keep health care costs down in her home state of Montana. In her spare time, she enjoys hanging out at the lake with her family, traveling,
skiing and reading. 

Kris Sweeney, Account Executive
Kris was born and raised in Missoula and brings over 3 decades of experience in Insurance and Account Management. She is a member of the Missoula Chamber of Commerce Red Coats, a graduate of Leadership Missoula, and is on the Board of Directors for Missoula Manor Homes. She enjoys volunteering in the community, traveling and spending time on the lake or river, and floating, or boating with family and friends. Kris is happily married and has two children, three step-children, one grandbaby, and three cats.

Joanna Sells CPA, Finance Director
Joanna Sells has over 20 years of experience in the accounting profession with 15 of these actively working or contracting within the insurance industry. Along with this industry, she has been employed by multiple non-profits throughout her career. She has worked with the HPM Health Plan in her previous positions, but officially joined the staff in 2015. This role combines these two areas of experience into one job where she oversees all financial activity and regulatory reporting within the organization and actively works with employer groups for the monthly billing.  When not at work, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and dogs hiking or running on the trails in our beautiful state.
